Perfect place to stay just down the road from Hunter. It was great to have a clean and comfortable room to go back to less than five minutes away from Hunter after a long day skiing

Stayed here for a weekend of skiing at Hunter Mountain. Conveniently located to the base and nearby restaurants. Utilized the game room, which was a fantastic way to unwind after a tiring day of skiing.

It was exactly what we needed for a short stay at Hunter. Fun game room, enough space for 4 people and the best heat that we have ever had while skiing. The unit was toasty warm on a cold winter night! Convenient to the slopes and a nice, clean place!

Very cozy and clean accommodations! Close to hunter mountain, nearby restaurants, and it was nice and warm. Walls are a bit thin (or we just had very noisy neighbors the next room over) so if you’re staying here just be mindful of potential noise with children. Definitely would stay again!

The Matterhorn Lodge was a great choice for our overnight stay at Hunter Mountain. The space was clean, modern, and thoughtfully maintained, with a warm and inviting feel. Being able to park directly outside our room was a small but much-appreciated convenience. We’d recommend it.

This was the perfect home for a family trip close to NYC. We loved using the fireplace in the home and exploring local antique shops. It was too cold to ski but would have been the perfect location for a ski trip as well!

great place. close to the slopes. clean comfy. just walls are thin & they can do better in lighting. but regardless I highly recommend. it's well worth the money and very nice rooms.

Looks to be a classic motel but modernized and hip, rooms smell of fresh pinewood. Park right in front of your unit and unload, incredibly convenient especially on a ski weekend. It was 3° (F) out, but room was really warm, no drafts, baseboard heat. 2 new queen beds, nice and firm, 4 pillows per bed. Linens were fine but room was so warm, we didn’t need the comforters. You’re half a mile from the lifts at Hunter. We did a Friday night to catch the first chair Saturday morning. Those 6-8 runs, with the slope to yourself before the crowds arrive, are clutch. Found this to be a great value in a ski town, so close to the slopes in the peak of season. Heading back next weekend. Tell the kids, the wifi speed and game room are great!
